The Team Doctor Program is a 4 session program, utilizing traditional Korean Medicine diagnosis and treatments, once completed will receive an International Certification in the Sports Korean Medicine (SKM) and may involve in sports events to take care of the athletes.

The goal of Sports Korean Medicine is to facilitate the recovery of the musculoskeletal system to a physiological state when injuries are inflicted to muscles, ligaments, cartilages, and bones. Traditional Korean Medicine diagnosis, such as zang-fu and constitution analysis, and treatment modalities of acupuncture, tuina manipulation, herbal medicine, Sasang constitutional medicine and pharmacopuncture along with conventional medicine are used to help heal and restore balance to the body. We are currently providing service to the elite athletes in the Asian Games, University competitions and other International sporting events. The treatments provided are very quick, safe, long lasting and powerful. Our members, using our modernized treatments, treat not only the general public but also to the elite athletes who are suffering from musculoskeletal injuries at the scene of sporting events.


The first session covers details in the training and education on diagnosis, treatment and prevention of all reversible injuries of the musculoskeletal system that may occur due to injuries in everyday life or while participating in sports activities.



Module 1 - Functional approach to anatomy in Korean medicine, Part 1

This module will examine the functional anatomy of the musculoskeletal system in respect to Korean Medicine. Based on these concepts, evidence-based theory to treat musculoskeletal dysfunction will be presented.

Module 2 - Disorder of the musculoskeletal system in view of Korean medicine, Part 1

The module will discuss the imbalance of the 5 Zang and the 6 Fu that can disrupt the Meridians and cause problems in the musculoskeletal system. The module will approach the treatments and adjustments of the whole body, which includes the 5 Zang and the 6 Fu, to treat the dysfunction of the musculoskeletal system.

Module 3 - Enhancement of movement through balance control of joint articulation, Part 1

This module will examine the patterns of movement to understand the articulation of joints, the classification of joint movement and pain will be discussed. In addition, the treatment of using taping and manipulations.

Module 4- Ailment of meridian sinew in Korean medicine, Part 1 This module will discuss the treatments to correct, improve and prevent relapse of fine malalignment of the spine by stimulating the soft tissues of the spine and the cervical muscles with Tuina and manipulations.
