This program is designed for all trained healers who want to add a powerful tool to their work: one that allows the patient to participate in their own healing.

This comprehensive Medical Qi Gong 2-day program addresses issues and illnesses from the transitory to the life-threatening, from injury to serious diagnoses. Acupuncturists, Massage Therapists, Doctors, Nurses, Physical Therapists, Body Workers, Psychologists – healers of all traditions have added these classical and proven methods to their practices. Half of all participants in Stephen and Pat’s American and European Classes were acupuncturists, the rest were practitioners and healers of all types.

This 2-day program is based on the healing Qi Gong of Prof. Cheng Man Ching, the renowned Tai Chi Grand Master and Chinese Medical Doctor who used specific Qi Gong moves and energy massages in healing his patients. The program has been co-designed by Pat Gorman, M.Ac., who is a Legacy Holder in Prof. Cheng's Yang family Tai Chi and Qi Gong lineage and co-Founder of the Tai Chi Foundation.

The course is designed with lecture, demonstration and participation. You will learn:

  • Simple and powerful moves, breathing patterns, energetic massages and the internal principles of movement that create healing
  • Specific diagnostic and medical applications of each move, which will be presented in detail
  • How to select the specific moves most valuable for your patients’ specific diagnoses
  • How to integrate this material seamlessly in your practice and pass this material to your patients

Included are both a comprehensive guide book and a 2 DVD set made specifically for this program which contains each move and posture and clearly outlines and demonstrates precisely how to do each one. The DVDs are a wonderful review of the course and the principles used in choosing the best postures and moves for each individual patient. Over three thousand DVD sets are already in use. You will also receive a certificate of completion from both Swedish Institute as well as the T’ai Chi Foundation.
