Learn simple, highly effective, time-tested healing methods for treating everyday aches and pains, as well as traumatic injuries (work, sports, accidents) commonly seen in the Oriental Medicine clinic.

In this workshop, you will learn how to effectively treat common aches and pains (headaches, arthritis, muscular-skeletal) and traumatic injuries from work, sports and accidents using Taoist I Ching Dit Da Medicine. This class is based on the wisdom traditions of Taoist I Ching Medicine and the internal martial arts known as nei jia which specializes in Dit Da (fall-strike) Medicine. The teachings are presented through an integrated combination of principles, theory, and hands-on applications with partners. 

Teachings include:

  • Chi Kung Acupunture non-insertion methods; Master Tung's special points to treat the 5 body tissues, needle techniques following the inner arts traditions of yi-chi-li (shen guides chi and enables the healing power)
  • Internal-external applications of single herbs, formulas, special foods, Chinese patent medicines and how to make a personal chi remedy for the patient during each treatment
  • Chi Kung Chinese Medicine in motion easy to learn healing methods for patients and practitioners
  • Unifying principles and treatment methods unique to the Taoist Healing Arts

This class includes case studies, hands-on practice with partners, question-answer opportunities, and you will leave with practical, highly effective methods you can begin to use right away. Bring your most difficult case studies to class for group consultation/feedback and effective clinical treatment applications.


Instructor Profile

Jeff Nagel, MA, L.Ac., Dipl. Ac., is a doctor-teacher-researcher of the Tao Healing Arts and Tai Chi-Chi Kung cultivator. Jeff is an experienced practitioner and well-seasoned, generous teacher of Acupuncture-Herbs, Oriental Medicine, Chi Kung and Feng Shui, trained in the 8 Branches of Chinese Taoist Healing Arts and Internal Marital Arts and life sciences. He has studied extensively with various masters and doctors including Taoist Grandmaster Share K. Lew, of the Yellow Dragon Monastery, China and is a 24th generation practitioner of the Taoist Elixir Style. Jeff lives in San Diego, CA and teaches workshops in Chi Kung Energy Transmission Healing, the Tao Healing Arts and Taoist I-Ching Medicine CEU classes around the US.
