Imagine the value of evaluating a patient’s pathology without relying on subjective reporting of symptoms or running a series of diagnostic tests.

In this two-day breakthrough course, you will learn 26 new effective techniques for assessing your patients based on visual analysis, soft tissue examination, palpation and questioning used in Segment-Reflex Massage and TCM. You will learn and acquire the following skills:
  • Unique hands-on techniques to evaluate the skin, connective tissue, muscle tissue, periosteum and spine for a variety of musculoskeletal and visceral disorders
  • The theoretical foundations and mechanisms of reflex zones
  • The interconnection between internal organs and superficial tissues
  • The basics of diagnostic techniques used in traditional Chinese medicine including auricular therapy and foot reflexology
  • Evaluation techniques that focus on the ear and foot in order to cross-reference one’s findings

  • By the end of this workshop you will have learned over two dozen techniques of evaluation for a wide variety of pathological conditions in the human body.

    Yusuf M. Mihaylov, LAc, LMT

    Yusuf Mihaylov is a Chinese medicine practitioner, Board Certified Acupuncture Physician and Licensed Massage Therapist who has been been practicing acupuncture, massage therapy, Chinese herbs, and homeopathy since 1990 in Russia, China and the U.S.

    He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida College of Oriental Medicine with a Master’s of Science in Oriental Medicine and Bachelor of Science in Professional Health Studies; extended his studies with a clinical internship at the largest military hospital in China, Beijing; and runs his own successful practice, Alternative Solutions for Rx Drugs in Jupiter, Florida.

    Yusuf’s experience as a massage therapist is also very deep and broad, covering a twenty two year span: In 1991, he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Medico-Biological Problems and Health Perfection in Russia, Moscow, where he successfully completed studies in Physical Rehabilitation with emphasis on medical Segment-Reflex massage, bone setting techniques and therapeutic exercises. In 1995, he graduated as a valedictorian from the Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy in New York, NY, where he deepened his extensive knowledge in bodywork.
