ASNY Board of Directors  
ASNY is “run” by its Board of Directors, a small group of volunteers from the ASNY community who seek to contribute to the profession. Service on the ASNY board or any of its committee is open to any licensed acupuncturist who is also member of ASNY. 

The current Board is composed of the following members.


James M. Shinol, MS,L.Ac.,LMT

Michel Antoine Solounias, MS, LAc, LMT
Nassau County, NY

Michel is a dedicated practitioner practicing Eastern Medicine along with Massage Therapy full time. He is a graduate of the New York College of Health Professions, and also holds a Masters degree in Human Nutrition from The University of Bridgeport. He continues to volunteer time and effort to the Acupuncture profession.
Kerith Kilhenny, L.Ac.
New York, NY

Kerith is a graduate of the Tri-State College of Acupuncture and currently has a practice located in Manhattan, NY.  Prior to becoming an acupuncturist, she worked in education teaching children with Autism, which she believes to be another form of healing, and also taught yoga.  She is grateful to be part of the ASNY Board of Directors, and to be able to be of service to the profession in this capacity.    
Michelle Wright, MSAOM, L.Ac.
Naples, NY

Michelle is a graduate of the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (FLSAOM) at NYCC.  Previously, Michelle served 10 years in public schools as a special education teacher before pursuing a second Masters degree in Acupuncture and herbal medicine.  Michelle currently has a private practice in the beautiful Finger Lakes region in upstate NY. 

Kevin Menard, L.Ac
Sag Harbor, NY

Kevin works and lives on the East end of Long Island specializing in Sports Medicine Acupuncture®. Graduating from TriState College of Acupuncture in NY, he is continuing to appeal to his interest in Chinese medicine by practicing Ba Gua and Zheng Gu Tui Na, and studying Chinese herbs. In addition to sports medicine, he is interested in studying and applying Chinese medicine approaches to indigenous conditions like Lyme Disease. Prior to his current practice of acupuncture, Kevin worked in the digital and television advertising sales industry.
     Robert Seung Min Lee, LAc
Brooklyn, NY
Robert studied Eastern Medicine and graduated from the NY College of Health Professions. He is a Licensed Acupuncturist, Licensed Massage Therapist and Registered Respiratory Therapist. Currently, he serves as Secretary and ASNY Liaison for Korean Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Association of New York (KAOMANY).

Huntington, NY
ASNY Continuing Education Program Coordinator
   Lisa Sumption, LAc.

Lisa holds a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where she is now a doctoral candidate. Her Manhattan private practice specializes in musculoskeletal and allergy treatment, blending traditional techniques with her studies in applied kinesiology. 

She brings to ASNY a belief in the power of community and its ability to both drive legislative action and galvanize the membership body.

Viktor Krystufek, Dipl.OM, LAc.

Viktor is an educator, a medical professional and an international health activist. He earned his MSTOM from PCOM in San Diego and now runs a clinic on Manhattan's 5th Avenue. His specialties include neuro-acupuncture, pain management and pediatrics. Before acupuncture he worked on many international projects around the world and through this experience he would like to promote and integrate oriental medicine into regional and national structures.

Mona Lee-Yuan, L.Ac, Dipl. OM (NCCAOM), P.T.
   Julie Juhyun Cho, L.Ac., DAOM, MS
Roslyn Heights, NY
Nassau County

Julie is a graduate of PCOM-NY & SD for her MSTOM and DAOM and has a private practice in Flatiron District, Manhattan, NY. Prior to becoming an acupuncturist, she worked for the American Cancer Society with her public health degree.  She holds BS & MS in Public Health / Health Care Management from SUNY Stony Brook. She is also Board Chair of Young Korean American Network in NYC.
